Second Giveaway!


This complete, uncut pattern for a 45" x 45" quilt is a Laurene Sinema design. The blocks are 8" square. The description says it is "a small reproduction of an appliqued summer coverlet stitched by Marie Waring circa 1860-1870 in Bellmore, Long Island. Border designs by Laurene Sinema, 1997."

Rules are simple:

Laurene owned the Quilted Apple here in PHX. I have a few yards of a green she designed. Would be great to use it in the applique.

oh my gosh this is such a great pattern, I wish they would reprint that fabric line of hers.
I was lucky enough to get a few pieces from a friend.

This is the kind of special historical applique pattern that "calls to me"; its botanical motifs have a wonderful free style. I have one applique book by Laurene Sinema and her patterns are lovely.
