Two More
These were finished last month, but a bout with a nasty stomach flu kept me from photographing and posting until today.
I posted a photo of this Hourglass top earlier, but finally got around to quilting and binding it. It's 16" x 20".
The center of this second one is an orphan block from a Jan Patek pattern I never completed. I surrounded it with some leftover checkerboard blocks and called it good. It's 15 1/2" x 15 1/2".
I had thought of going for a fall theme last month --pumpkins and flying geese or black, white, and red, or maple leaves--but never got around to it. Well, I have a couple of more months.

Very nice!
Love Love Love it, must make it to put on my wall
Both quilts are wonderful. I like the way you used the applique block in the middle, I may copy that idea. The bindings are nice, too.

The bindings were strips of fabrics I'd cut to make a log cabin. I just sewed them together to make colorful bindings. I thought they turned out nicely too!

I like the little doll quilt with the applique flower in the center. Very prim looking.
So very charming — both quilts, with such cheerful bindings!
