Vintage Blue Four Patch Doll Quilt

This quilt was made of four inch blocks pieced by John's great-aunt Clara. The fabric is circa 1920. It is 12" x 18" and is hand pieced and hand quilted.

I'm coming to your blog from MAIDA. I'm so glad to find another person who loves to make doll quilts. I especially liked what your husband said, "I didn't know dolls get cold." I once had a woman tell me, "I don't know why you make these; no one wants them." So what! I like them; they make me happy! I'll be back for more viewing.
