I am a wife, the mother of four grown sons, and nana to five grandchildren. I work part-time as a librarian/ archivist at a university library. I enjoy knitting socks, hats, mittens and other items for charity, reading, hand quilting, growing old-fashioned flowers, and bird watching.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting those patterns. I swear I saw a version of the "star that traveled" pattern on Ebay recently. I love the prices (10 cents, 15 cents). What a treasure you have.
Thanks for sharing those lovely patterns - makes me "flash-back" to my days as a little girl, and my first quilt (my ONLY quilt) made by my paternal grandmother; had it until it disintegrated in my junior year of high school . . . which is when she passed away -
